It has been 10 years since this Project Runway Winner Alum made his public debut with his own fashion line. Since then he has been a front-runner supporting body diversity and inclusivity. Christian Siriano’s collection celebrated the anniversary with a stunning 72 look collection for New York Fashion Week.
Well-known plus-size model Ashely Graham opened the show with a jaw-dropping monochromatic look. From the plush coat to the thigh high boots this look stole the show. Fan favorite and actress Danielle Brooks also graced the runway in an ethereal flowing teal gown. As her first runway appearance, she certainly made an impression.
The dramatic ball gown just kept coming down the runway on a variety of models of different sizes and skin tones. Siriano has come along way since his Project Runway days and is an inspiration for budding designers to come. We have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot of these gowns on our favorite plus size film stars in the coming months!
